Father-son duo axes man to death for cutting tree in Khairpur

A father-son duo attacked a young man and killed him after repeatedly hitting him with an axe for cutting a tree in tehsil Nara of Khairpur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Wednesday.

Sources said that accused Mohammad Bakhsh Channa and his son Abdul Majeed Channa murdered Pervez Bhanbara with multiple blows of an axe for cutting a tree.

SSP Tohidur Rehman Memon took notice of the gruesome murder after which both father and son were taken into custody. 

Police also recovered weapon used for the murder of the young man.

Local police also registered a case of murder against the father and his son.

The SSP assured the deceased’s family that an exemplary punishment will be awarded to the accused and also lauded the police team for taking timely action.
