Pakistani ‘invented’ carbike and netizens love it
A marriage of convenience or inconvenience, yet a unique and creative vehicle from Pakistan has gone viral on social media, leaving viewers both surprised and amused.
In a video circulating online, a passer-by initially spots what seems to be a regular sedan from behind. However, as the person moves forward, the illusion is quickly broken — the vehicle’s front is actually a motorcycle, creating a mismatched hybrid that has stunned the netizens.
The Instagram post, captioned “Pakistani Jugaar, how does it look?”, sparked waves of laughter and praise for the innovative design.
In Pakistan, the term ‘Chingchi’ typically refers to a motorcycle-rickshaw hybrid, but this new design takes the concept to a whole new level. The back of the vehicle resembles a sleek sedan, while the front is made up of a motorcycle’s handlebars and wheel.
The hillarious creation has amassed more than 3 million views on Instagram. Social media users have dubbed it the ‘premium Chingchi’ or ‘Carbike’ admiring the creativity and humour behind the modification.
