Punjab cabinet approves Rs30b for ‘Negehban Ramazan Package’ 

Punjab cabinet has approved Rs30 billion for ‘Negheban Ramadan Package’ which will benefit about 30 million people, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

The meeting chaired by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also gave approval of Rs580 million funds for "Cryoablation Machine" as an alternative to chemotherapy for cancer patients. 

The meeting decided to introduce modern cancer treatment method on the instructions of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

The cabinet meeting also decided to change 353 vehicles of Rescue 1122 services in Punjab phase-wise.

As many as 1000 tractors will be given to wheat farmers with one land levelers, the meeting decided.

Punjab cabinet also decided in principle to introduce special transport for special people.

The cabinet also gave approval of free travel facility for special people and senior citizens in mass transit system.

The meeting agreed on the proposal to introduce special student travel card for students.

Punjab Cabinet gave approval of "Zero Time to Start Policy" for Special Economic Zone, Industrial Estate and Small Industrial Estate.

In this regard Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said investors come, set up industries, start work and paperwork will be done later. 

Maryam Nawaz said government wanted to provide all kinds of ease to industrialists in Punjab for business.

"Set up as many industries as you can! You will get NOC immediately”, Maryam Nawaz said.

She said we will make the difficult stages of setting up industries across the province easy and business-friendly. 

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has also sought a plan to start a tram service.
