Sindh Governor Tessori meets Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi  

Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori on Wednesday met with Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi and discussed with him the law and order situation in the province, promotion of cricket, including the upcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Speaking on the occasion, the interior minister said that the projects initiated by the governor in Sindh were praiseworthy. “Modern IT courses introduced by you will help the province’s youth hone their skills further,” Naqvi said to Tessori. 

The governor said that the role played by law-enforcement agencies (LEAs) in the maintenance of peace in the country was praiseworthy. 

He also expressed the hope that the upgradation of the National Bank Cricket Stadium in Karachi would help promote cricket. “You have really done a fantastic job by upgrading the stadium in such a short span of time,” Tessori said to Naqvi.   

The minister, on the occasion, also planted a sapling in the Governor’s House.  

Naqvi visits Pakistan Rangers Sindh headquarters

Also on Wednesday, Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi visited the Pakistan Rangers’ Sindh headquarters where he was welcomed by DG Rangers Sindh Major General Muhammad Shamraiz. 

Naqvi was introduced to the Rangers’ officials. The minister also went to the martyrs’ memorial where he laid a floral wreath to pay his respects.   

Speaking on the occasion, he, while paying rich tributes to the martyrs, said that the sacrifices given by them were unprecedented. “They are our asset,” he added.
