FBR orders strict adherence to office hours
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Headquarters Monday directed all officers to ensure full compliance with official office hours, warning that strict action will be taken against employees who are absent or arrive late.
According to the notice, all staff must be available during working hours at all costs to ensure that taxpayers receive efficient services.
The directive emphasises that all available resources should be utilized to provide maximum facilities to taxpayers.
The FBR said the measures are being implemented in line with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s orders, and any violations of office rules will be dealt with firmly.
The move comes as part of a broader effort to improve accountability and service delivery across federal departments.
