Two flights from Karachi to Lahore were not allowed to land at Allama Iqbal International Airport, reported 24NewsHD TV channel quoting its sources in Air Traffic Control.

Keeping in view the rain situation, the Air Traffic Control directed both flights to divert to other destinations.

PIA flight PK-302 from Karachi to Lahore was diverted to Multan while Air Blue flight PA-402 from Karachi was also diverted to Multan Airport.

It has been reported that due to bad weather, both the planes could not land despite their best efforts and subsequently diverted towards Multan.
