The rescue operation of the Pakistan Navy is in full swing during the floods and torrential rains in different parts of Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Tuesday.

The Pakistan Navy, in collaboration with the Sindh Disaster Management Authority, provided all possible assistance in the flood situation caused by the recent torrential rains and assisted the civil administration in rescuing the locals trapped in the flooded houses and relocating them to safer places.

The Pakistan Navy used its resources to drain large amounts of rainwater. Pakistan Navy personnel reached different areas of Karachi including Sher Shah, Saddar, Lyari, Buzrata Line, Punjab Chowrangi and Maripur and took part in relief operations.
