A Dubai-returned man was killed while a relative of him was injured allegedly in firing by police in the Manghopir area of Karachi, 24NewsHD TV channel reported Wednesday.

According to police, the deceased was identified as Hashim, a resident of North Nazimabad, and he had been residing in Dubai for over 15 years.

He had returned to Karachi for marriage and married a month ago. Before flying back to Dubai, he along with a relative of him had gone to the shrine of Noorani in Balochistan.

On their way back, Hashim was killed while the relative was injured after the police opened fire at them for disregarding their signal to stop.
