Punjab Police have suggested to the home department to call Pakistan Army and Rangers as well as to jam cellphones during the holy month of Muharram, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

A letter will be written to the Center following approval of these proposals by the cabinet committee. 

The home department has said that final decision in this regard will be taken by tomorrow.
