Dacoits make away with over 20 buffaloes during attack on Ghotki village

Dacoits stormed a house in village, Saen Dino Ghoto near Ghotki and fled away with over 20 buffaloes, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday. 

When villagers chased the dacoits, the latter opened fire at them, resulting in the death of one villager and injuring another named Hanif Bhutto.  

Police said the deceased was identified as Abdul Majeed Ghoto.  

Police further said that Ghoto was the owner of the buffaloes. 

Dacoit killed in police encounter in Nankana

One dacoit was killed in Nankana Sahib when he was accidentally hit by a bullet fired by his accomplice during an exchange of fire with the police.

Police said that two motorcyclists were fleeing after snatching valuables from a pedestrian in the limits of the Warburton police station when police chased them.

On seeing the cops, the suspects fired at them, the police said, adding this led to an encounter during which a bullet fired by one of the dacoits accidentally hit his accomplice due to which he died on the spot, while the other one fled from the spot.  

The Force said that the search operation for the arrest of the dacoit had been launched, while the deceased had not been identified as yet.
