Saba Qamar finds humour in Lahore monsoon mayhem

Noted actress Saba Qamar gave fans a reason to laugh amid the recent monsoon mayhem in Lahore, sharing a hilarious clip that perfectly captured the city’s rainy-day struggles.

According to Galaxy Lollywood, Saba took to social media to repost a video showing a car wading through knee-deep rainwater on a flooded Lahore street.

What made the video especially amusing was the unseen man’s voiceover, joking that he had visited Lahore only to find it transformed into a floating inland city.

The clip humorously likened the waterlogged roads to canals, with cars appearing to “float” through what looked like an island.

Sharing the moment with a laughing emoji, Saba captioned it: “That was hilarious, man. I laughed so hard. You made my day!”

She also praised Lahoris for managing to find levity even when things go sideways.

The video surfaced just days after heavy downpours lashed the provincial capital, leaving several areas waterlogged and sparking debate over the city’s urban planning and drainage system.

Earlier in the week, Saba Qamar opened up about finding inner peace and renewed hope through the Fajr prayer, urging her fans and followers to embrace the spiritual power of early morning worship.

Taking to Instagram, she shared a heartfelt message reflecting on its transformative energy, writing:

“Fajr teaches you that even the darkest night will end and a new light will rise, both outside and within.”

The 41-year-old star also made headlines when clips of her and fellow actress Salma Zafar enjoying a live qawwali performance went viral.

The footage showed Saba Qamar fully immersed in the rhythm, gracefully swirling in a trance-like state as the music built.
