Minor girl killed as Suthra Punjab truck hits motorcycle in Lahore

A one-and-a-half-year-old girl died while her parents were seriously injured when a truck from Suthra, Punjab, hit a motorcycle on a bridge on Ferozpur Road, Lahore, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to the traffic police spokesperson, after the accident, the angry people caught the truck driver and tortured him.
Traffic Inspector Kot Lakhpat immediately reached the spot and took the truck driver into his custody.
The traffic police handed over the truck driver, truck and motorcycle to the concerned police for further legal action.
Lahore Traffic Police had already written a letter to the concerned authorities for the training of Suthra Punjab drivers.
As many as 10 citizens died in four fatal accidents in 2025-26 from Suthra, Punjab, and LWMC vehicles.
Strong action, monitoring and training were demanded against negligent drivers.
