Dilpazir leads GBA-15 Diamer-I re-poll with 6,033 votes

Independent candidate Muhammad Dilpazir is leading the unofficial and provisional vote count in the re-poll for Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly constituency GBA-15 Diamer-I, securing 6,033 votes, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.

According to the unofficial tally, Dilpazir received 114 votes from the Thak Loshi Family Polling Station.

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) candidate Mufti Wali-ur-Rehman is in second place with 4,639 votes, including 143 votes from the same polling station.

PPP candidate Bashir Ahmed stands third with 4,109 votes.

He failed to secure any vote from the Thak Loshi Family Polling Station.

PML-N candidate Engineer Abdul Wajid is in fourth place with 3,271 votes, including 191 votes from the Thak Loshi Family Polling Station.

Election officials emphasized that the figures are unofficial and provisional, adding that the Election Commission of Gilgit-Baltistan will announce the final official result after completing the consolidation and verification process.
