International cyclist Mohsin Khan appealed to the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to immediately restore the departmental games, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

Mohsin Khan said he is facing severe financial difficulties after the closure of departmental games.

Mohsin said if the federation does not extend support, it will be difficult to play the game.

Mohsin went on to say the former prime minister Imran Khan has stopped the departmental games which has upset the players.

Mohsin said the reports of revival of departmental sports by the present government are welcoming.

He appealed to the Prime Minister to revive the departmental games as soon as possible so that the financial difficulties of the players could be alleviated.
