Former senator Taj Afridi dies in accident on Islamabad-Peshawar motorway

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) former senator Taj Muhammad Afridi lost his life in a road accident on the Kernal Sher Khan Interchange on M-1 Motorway on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The incident took place when the senator was travelling to Peshawar from the federal capital. His driver sustained injuries in the accident, and he has been shifted to a hospital for treatment.
Reports said the incident occurred due to a mechanical fault in the vehicle.
Soon after receiving the report, Motorway Police rushed to the spot and shifted the deceased and the injured driver to the hospital.
