Three killed, 14 injured as storm, heavy rain lash Bannu

At least three people were killed and 14 others injured after strong winds, a dust storm, and heavy rain caused walls and roofs to collapse in various parts of Bannu, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday. 

According to a spokesperson for the Medical Teaching Institution (MTI) Bannu, Muhammad Nauman, the casualties were brought to different hospitals following the severe weather.

He said 14 injured persons and one body were shifted to the DHQ Hospital, while three injured people and two bodies were taken to Khalifa Gul Nawaz Hospital.

Among the injured was Bilqiaz, who was transferred to a hospital in critical condition but later succumbed to injuries during treatment.

Hospital authorities said a total of 14 injured people and three bodies had been received so far.

Officials have urged residents to remain cautious and avoid unnecessary travel during adverse weather conditions.
