The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), an ally of the PTI-led ruling coalition, has demanded an inquiry into the installation of spy cameras in the Senate, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

It may be mentioned here that the Opposition lawmakers spotted the spy cameras in the Upper House of the Parliament on Friday before the voting for elections of the Senate chairman and the deputy chairman.

MQM-P leader and Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Syed Aminul Haq maintained “We are ally of the government but our stance is very clear that there should an investigation.”

Aminul Haq stressed that the government without any delay should announce the inquiry into the installation of the spy cameras in the Senate.

“This should not have happened as this is the credibility of the Parliament you are talking about,” the MQM-P leader declared.
