Seeing his throne in real danger, the Punjab chief minister has also become active as he has met a bunch of PML-N members of Punjab Assembly who reposed full confidence in his leadership, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

In order to stave off the opposition’s planned no-confidence motion against him, Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar is setting up meetings with the members of the Punjab Assembly belonging to the opposition parties.

He held a meeting with PML-N MPA Azhar Abbas Chandia and some other MPAs from Muzaffargarh.

The MPAs expressed their full confidence in the leadership of Buzdar.

It’s a great pride for our government that we earmarked 35% development funds for South Punjab, Mr Buzdar said boasting further that it was a historic step of his government that a 32% quota in jobs was set aside for South Punjab.
