PML-N Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz on Sunday took a dig at PTI Chairman Imran Khan for cancelling his rally in Lahore for the ‘fear of police’ terming him a ‘jackal’ while lionizing Nawaz Sharif who removed all obstacles put up by then military dictator late General ® Pervez Mushharaf to stop him from leading a rally taken out to restore deposed judges, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

“Those who cancel "movements" due to fear of police, those who stay at home because of fear are called jackals and those who lead from the front after removing every obstacle put up dictator Musharraf and by the grace of Allah restore the judiciary before reaching Gujranwala. This lion-hearted leader is called Nawaz Sharif!”

Earlier, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan called off party’s election rally in Lahore till tomorrow (Monday) on account of Section 144 being imposed in the city by the Punjab government.
