Taking action against street criminal gangs in Karachi, Jamshed Quarter police arrested three suspects including two ringleader of a ten-member Afghan gang, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Jamshed Quarter Alina Rajpar, a large number of mobile phones, 5 laptops and weapons have been recovered from the possession of the dacoits.

Apart from robbery, the accused have also committed several incidents of street crime.

SP Alina further said that the arrested accused confessed roberries at more than 15 mobile shops.

The accused used to steal mobile phones from Karachi and sell in other provinces. The accused did not stay in one area for a long time.

Police officials say that details are being gathered regarding the car used by the accused.

Among the accused ringleaders of the gang, Jan Aziz, Adam Gul and their accomplice Seelab Khan.

Raids are being conducted to arrest other accomplices of the arrested accused.
