Mosque Imam arrested for alleged sexual assault of two children in Peshawar

A horrifying case of child sexual abuse has surfaced in Badh Bir, Peshawar, where a mosque Imam has been accused of raping two children.

The police have arrested the suspect and registered a case against him.

According to details, Qadir Khan, a resident of Tila Band, filed a complaint with the Badh Bir police, alleging that Qari Akhtar Zaman, a resident of Karam Hal, Badh Bir, had sexually assaulted his 9-year-old daughter and 11-year-old nephew on separate occasions.

The children initially remained silent out of fear, but after persistent questioning by their families, they revealed the disturbing truth.

Following the complaint, the police shifted the victims to a hospital for medical examination.

Acting swiftly, law enforcement arrested the accused Qari Akhtar Zaman and registered a case against him. Authorities have assured that a thorough investigation will be conducted to ensure justice for the victims.
