Tamgha-e-Shujaat conferred on Lahore’s top crime-fighter

Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Bilal Siddique Kamyana conferred President Police Medal Tamgha-e-Shujaat to crime-fighter Inspector Javed Hasnain during a ceremony held in Lahore, reported 24NewsHd TV channel on Wednesday.

The police inspector showed outstanding performance by thwarting a robbery attempt in College Block of Iqbal Town Lahore in 2023.

As per details, police received a call on 15 helpline in November 2023 that six dacoits entered into a house and held all the persons hostage.

After the call, a police team under the supervision of Inspector Javed Hasnain reached the house and freed all the persons from the custody of dacoits.

The dacoits were later identified as Mohsin alias Gogi, Waseem son of Sharif, Imran son of Allah Ditta, Nauman son of Abdul Majeed, Ali Raza son of Rehmat and Ali Raza son of Mansha.

All the notorious dacoits belonged to Mian Channu and were wanted by police in 25 criminal cases.

CCPO lauded the outstanding performance showed by brave police inspector and his team, saying police inspector showed extraordinary bravery by foiling robbery attempt.

He said that he will continue to encourage brave jawans of Pakistan police and will use all resources for their welfare.

CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamyana said that Lahore police is determined to curb organized crimes in the city.

At the conclusion of ceremony, Inspector Javed Hasnain thanked CCPO for awarding him Tamgha-e-Shujaat.
