Flight operation to remain suspended at Islamabad airport today

The flight operation at Islamabad International Airport will remain suspended for a few hours today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

Sources told the 24News TV channel that the NOTAM had been issued in view of preparations for a parade on 23rd of March.

According to the NOTAM PAA, some of the routes in Lahore flight information region will not be temporarily available due to which the flight operation will remain suspended at the airport from 10:00 AM in the morning to 1:15 AM in the afternoon.

NOTAM PAA said that airlines had been directed to keep additional fuel in view of possible delays.
