Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ataullah Tarar on Wednesday accused Prime Minister Imran Khan of turning a blind eye to the corruption in the Rawalpindi Rind Road project, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He said that the alignment of the Ring Road was changed to benefit Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Zulfi Bukhari and other senior members of the PTI government.
He hit out at Prime Minister Imran Khan for repeatedly saying, “I will not give an NRO,” and still overlooking the corrupt elements in his own ranks.”

He said originally the Ring Road was 40-km long, but later the PTI government extended it further by 26 kilometers allegedly in order to provide access to the housing societies and lands owned by PTI high-ups.
Tarar accused the PTI government of giving a contract for the Ring Road project to its blue-eyed contractor. This is a dacoity in broad daylight which was committed under PM Imran’s nose and on his own directions,” he commented.
