The Punjab government has decided to announce a tax-free budget for the next fiscal year, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.  

According to the TV channel, the decision was taken at the Resource Mobilization Committee meeting.

The Finance Department has intimated to all department heads that no new tax will be levied this time as all taxes levied in the last year’s budget would remain in force.
