Pakistan reports 90 new Covid-19 cases with no death

The country has reported 90 new cases of coronavirus with no death during the past 24 hours, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
According to the statistics released by the National Institute of Health (NIH), the positivity rate of Covid-19 remained 0.46 per cent during the past 24 hours.

Positive Cases: 90

Patients on Critical Care: 104
Furthermore, as many as 19,692 tests for coronavirus were also carried out during the past 24 hours.
The condition of as many as 104 patients of Covid-19 is stated to be critical, according to the NIH.
It is to be noted here that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has ordered immediate restoration of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) in the wake of the emergence of a new case of Omicron sub-variant in the country a couple of days ago.
The NCOC had been disbanded by the previous Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government in March 2022 after the country witnessed an improvement in the virus situation.
