Health experts termed Thalassemia Test compulsory for any couple before their marriage to stop the transfer of this disease to the next generation.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, in connection with Thalassemia Day, Amina Bashir Memorial Trust (ABMT) organized an awareness seminar at Misri Shah Lahore on Friday.

In the seminar, more than 100 patients with thalassemia disease participated. Professor Dr Adil Akhtar and Dr Saba Kabir checked the patients and informed the parents about the disease.
On this occasion, health experts made thalassemia tests mandatory before marriage so that the disease could not be passed on to the next generation.

The 11th birthday cake of the trust was cut and gifts were also distributed among the children and girls suffering from thalassemia.
Social circles have lauded the services of administrator Arsalan Ahmad and trustees of the ABMT.
