The Lahore police has reached Islamabad to seek PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s arrest in cases registered against him in the provincial capital, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The police team under the leadership of DIG Investigation on Friday left for Islamabad with arrest warrants for Imran Khan. 

The Joint Investigation Team is probing cases filed against the former premier.

The JIT team has also intimated the court that Imran’s arrest is wanted.

Imran is in Islamabad High Court today seeking bail in different cases including Al Qadir Trust corruption case in which he was arrested by the paramilitary troops on Tuesday from the court premises. But on Thursday, the Supreme Court termed his arrest unlawful and released him and directed him to appear before the Islamabad High Court again today.
