Durefishan Saleem speaks about peace and unity after India-Pakistan conflict
Celebrated Pakistani actress Durefishan Saleem has shared a powerful message of peace and unity following the recent tension between India and Pakistan.
Taking to her Instagram story, she shared a post that reads, "Please take care of Hindu Pakistanis at this crucial time as a nation. They belong to us. Take care of their mental health and assure them. We are different as a nation. Stay respectful towards them and give them an utter sense of security.
As long as they belong to Pakistan, they belong to us, and as a nation, we believe in inclusivity, Harmony, and Peace."
Speaking about the issue, she said, "It's not Pakistan vs Hindi, it's always Pakistan vs the Modi government and the Indian media.
She made it clear that her words were not against the people of India, but against the political leadership and media that spread hate.
She also reminded everyone about the importance of tolerance by referring to the white color in Pakistan’s flag.
"The white in my flag--the part we are meant to honor, not erase", she added.
The actress shed light on the importance of protecting minority rights and living in harmony.
