Who is Pinky and how she became Pakistan’s first high-profile drug dealer?

More details have surfaced regarding the drug network of accused Anmol alias “Pinky,” who was recently arrested from the Garden area and is being described by investigators as Pakistan’s first female cocaine kingpin.

According to sources, Anmol Pinky left her home at the age of 14 to pursue modeling and gradually became part of party circles, where she allegedly developed links with individuals involved in narcotics trafficking.

Investigators claim that she later married a lawyer associated with an international cocaine gang and began working alongside him in the drug trade. After divorcing her first husband, Pinky reportedly married a police officer and expanded her alleged narcotics operations.

Sources said that with the help of her three brothers, she established an organized cocaine distribution network and eventually became one of the country’s most influential cocaine dealers. Investigators say that she learnt methods of preparing cocaine through online sources before creating her own “brand.”

According to the investigation, Pinky operated a highly secretive network in which members did not directly meet one another. Authorities said cocaine was transported from Lahore to Karachi by train through two women carrying packets of the drug. Separate bike riders would then collect the packets from railway stations and deliver them to dealers across the city.

Sources said that the drugs were supplied to party circles in Karachi with the assistance of her brother’s girlfriend, who was also said to be part of the network. Investigators added that Pinky had also constructed a hotel in Gilgit.

Police sources said the accused had previously been arrested by Punjab Police around five years ago but was released after payment of a Rs70 million bribe. Authorities stated that two of her brothers had earlier been arrested by Karachi police in separate cases linked to narcotics trafficking.

According to investigators, the network generated crores of rupees every month through cocaine sales. However, many of the allegations remain under investigation and have yet to be proven in court.
