Prices of ghee and cooking oil go up in Pakistan

Prices of ghee and cooking oil in Pakistan reached Rs598 per kilogram after an increase of Rs3 per kilogram amid rising production costs, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Price of Sunflower cooking oil has reached Rs618 per kilogram, which is the highest in history.
People expressed their dissatisfaction over the rising costs of daily consumable items. They demanded that the government take immediate notice of this situation and provide relief to the people.
Last week, 10 kilograms of flour was being sold at Rs200 per kilogram after an increase of Rs10 to Rs20, while fine quality rice is also beyond the reach of the common man.
