The Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday approved the bail application filed by PTI social media activist Haider Saeed against surety bonds of Rs100,000 each in the case of recording the movement of former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, currently incarcerated at Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi, while he was being shifted from jail to a hospital, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

A two-member bench, headed by Justice Shahzad Ahmad Malik, heard the case.

During the hearing, Ali Bukhari, counsel for the accused, said that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had not completed legal formalities. “My client has been in jail for the last 79 days,” he added.

Additional Attorney General Munawar Iqbal Duggal opposed the bail.

On February 25, 2026, law enforcement officials had detained a social media activist for recording the movement of Imran Khan while he was being transported between a hospital and prison.

Haider Saeed was detained in the Dahgal Naka area, located in close proximity to the Adiala Jail.

He was shifted to the Adiala Police Post for questioning.
