Two women PAS officers resign as govt notifies more transfers and postings

The federal government has carried out a series of appointments and transfers in the bureaucracy, while two women officers of the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) have resigned from the government service.

According to official notifications issued by the Establishment Division, Director General of the Pakistan Sports Board, Muhammad Yasir Pirzada, has been transferred and his services have been returned to his parent department, the Federal Board of Revenue.

Meanwhile, Secretary of the Inter-Provincial Coordination Division Mohiuddin Ahmed Wani has been given additional charge of Director General Pakistan Sports Board for a period of three months or until the appointment of a permanent director general, whichever comes earlier.

In other bureaucratic changes, Muhammad Hassanullah and Muhammad Siddique, who were awaiting appointments, have been posted in the Establishment Division.

The notification stated that Muhammad Zubair has been transferred from the Religious Affairs Division to the National Food Security and Research Division, while Muneeza Hamid has been transferred from the Interior Division to the National Heritage and Culture Division.

Separately, two officers of the federal government have resigned from service after approval by the competent authority and Secretary Establishment Division.

According to the notifications, Grade-18 officer Nadia Haroon and Grade-17 officer Sadaf Fatima, both awaiting appointment in the Establishment Division, have resigned from government service.

The notifications stated that Nadia Haroon’s resignation will take effect from December 1, 2025, while Sadaf Fatima’s resignation will be effective from July 23, 2025.

The Establishment Division has issued separate official notifications regarding all appointments, transfers and resignations.
