Federal Minister for Energy Hamad Azhar Friday warned that stoves of the houses will remain cold in this winter.

According to details there will be gas load shedding and would be available only three times a day.

Addressing the Senate session, Federal Minister for Energy informed that gas would be provided to domestic consumers three times a day in winter season.

He said that gas would be available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, adding that the news of gas supply three days a week was not true.

Hamad Azhar said that further progress was being made in the matter of gas pipeline with Russia, a Russian delegation had returned from Pakistan a few days ago after talks.

The Federal Minister said that the Russian delegation would return again in two to three days for the new round of talks.

The Minister said that gas is being supplied to the domestic consumers on priority basis and efforts are being made to supply gas to both the domestic consumers and the industrial sector.

He further said that the rate of losses in the Sui gas sector has remained close to 11%, only.
