Imran, Maryam, celebrities shower praise on Pakistani cricket team

Prime Minister Imran Khan, PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz, PCB Chairman, cricket legends and former captains appreciated Pakistan Cricket Team the way they fought against Aussies and expressed their full support for the green shirts, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Prime Minister Imran Khan pointing out Babar Azam and the team’s performance said, “I know exactly how all of you are feeling right now because I had faced similar disappointments on the cricket field. But you should all be proud of the quality of cricket you played and the humility you showed in your wins.”

Imran Khan congratulated team Australia for their thrilling win against Pakistan. 

PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz said, “Dear Team Pakistan. You have been shining like the brightest of stars throughout the tournament and brought happiness and joy to a nation that was so desperately craving for it. Winning and losing is part of the game. You gave it your best and we are all proud of you.”

PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja backing up the green shirts said that this team have united the land truly and also have refreshed its mood with promise.

Shadab Khan in series of tweets said sorry to fans for not winning he match despite putting their best efforts and showed his resolve to bounce back and preparations for the next world cup from here.
