Police claim two dacoits of Kacha killed in encounter

Two notorious dacoits were killed and many others got injured in a police encounter in the Kacha area of Rojhan on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

A cop also received bullet injuries during an exchange of gunfire with a gang of dacoits.

The value of the one of slain dacoits head was reported to be 1.5 million rupees.

Both dacoits were wanted in cases of murder, abduction, and multiple dacoity incidents.

According to DPO Dost Muhammad, the police team reached the scene upon receiving information about the presence of dacoits. Upon the police team's arrival, the dacoits opened firing, leading to a fierce exchange of gunfire between the two parties.

The police firing resulted in the deaths of the two dacoits, including Seefal Kharkhani, whose head carried a reward of 1.5 million rupees.

During the exchange of fire, a police officer, Muhammad Aleem, was injured and subsequently transferred to the Rojhan hospital for treatment.

The area has witnessed a heavy police presence as a search operation is underway.
