Nominations of 19 officers for 45th Mid-Career Management Course cancelled
The Establishment Division has announced a reshuffle in the nominations for the upcoming 45th Mid-Career Management Course (MCMC), which is a mandatory training requirement for promotion to Grade 19 for government officers.
According to an official notification, the nominations of 19 officers have been cancelled, while four additional officers have been nominated. In addition, the training stations of two officers have been changed.
Among those whose nominations were withdrawn are Deputy Secretary (Cabinet) Sindh Muhammad Danish, Deputy Secretary (S&GAD) Punjab Mohsin Salahuddin, Deputy Commissioner, Punjab Revenue Authority Umar Iftikhar Shirazi, Zubair Khan (posted in KP Government), SP Tahir Mustafa of Multan Special Branch, SSP Investigation Gujranwala Rizwan Tariq, Director, Overseas Pakistani Commission Punjab Imtiaz Ahmed Khan, and SP Investigation Karak (KP Government) Muhammad Ashfaq.
New nominations include Deputy Commissioner (Lower Kohistan) Tariq Mahmood, Deputy Director, PSRA KP Daulat Khan, Deputy Secretary (Judicial), Establishment Department KP Ali Raza, and Deputy Principal, RTI Quetta, Population Welfare Department Balochistan Muhammad Arif.
The Establishment Division has informed the Rector, National School of Public Policy (NSPP) through an official communication regarding these changes. The 45th MCMC is scheduled to be held from November 17, 2025, to January 23, 2026, and participating officers are required to report to their respective training stations by November 14, 2025.
The Mid-Career Management Course serves as a vital component of Pakistan’s civil service capacity-building framework, designed to enhance management, leadership, and policy implementation skills among mid-level officers across the federation.
This reshuffle underscores the government’s commitment to maintaining merit, transparency, and efficiency in the professional development of public servants to ensure better governance and service delivery.
