Singer Shaukat Ali admitted to hospital for liver infection treatment

Singer Shaukat Ali has been admitted to the Gambat Institute Gambat Institute of Medical Sciences, Khairpur for treatment of his liver infection on the directions of the Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Monday.
Senior artiste Shaukat Ali was brought to the hospital by ambulance. Director Gambat Hospital D. Rahim Bakhsh received the singer. Shaukat Ali's sons are also with him.
He said singer's liver treatment will be started after the report of blood test that has been taken for the laboratory test, the TV channel reported
Shaukat Ali is one of the biggest stars of the Pakistani music industry, having around five decades of singing career and a Pride of Performance award recipient.
Famous for his songs during the 1965 and 1971 wars against India including Saathion Mujahidon Jaag Utha Hai Sara Watan, Mera Puttar Pakistan Da and Apna Quaid Aik Hai amongst many others. He has not been well for the last few years.
