PML-N leader Malik Pervaiz laid to rest in Lahore

PML-N Lahore President and MNA Pervaiz Malik was laid to rest in Lahore after his funeral prayers were offered at a ground adjacent to Gaddafi Stadium on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Jamia Ashrafia chief Maulana Fazalur Reheem led the funeral prayers.
Malik Pervaiz was buried adjacent to the grave of his mother in Miani Sahib graveyard. His sons Ali Pervaiz Malik and Ahmed Pervaiz Malik placed his body into the grave.
Pervaiz Malik, elected MNA from NA-137 (Lahore) on a PML-N ticket, died of cardiac arrest while swimming on Monday.
A large number of political figures from various political parties participated in the funeral prayers.
Those who participated in the funeral prayers included: President PML-N Mian Shehbaz Sharif, MNA Ali Pervez, Malik Barrister Ahmed Pervez Malik, PML-N senior leaders Khawaja Asif, Khawaja Saad Rafique, former speaker of NA Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Ahsan Iqbal, Rana Sanaullah, MNA Rana Mubashir Iqbal, Malik Riaz, Waheed Alam Khan and General Secretary of PML-N Lahore chapter Khawaja Imran Nazir.
Former chief justice of Lahore High Court (LHC) Muhammad Amir Bhatti and Supreme Court Justice Umar Ata Bandial attended the funeral prayers.
MPA Saif-ul-Malook Khokhar, Ghazali Saleem Butt Bilal Akbar Khan, Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, Ramzan Siddique Bhatti, Chaudhry Shahbaz Ahmed, Mian Margob Ahmed, Mirza Javed and Akhtar Hussain Mayo also attended the Namaz-i-Janaza.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) provincial minister Mian Aslam Iqbal and PTI leader Ejaz Chaudhry also attended the funeral prayers besides Malik Karamat Khokhar, JI leader Ghulam Farid Paracha, Liaquat Baloch, Khawaja Ahmad Hassan, Mayor Lahore Mubashir Javed, Deputy Mayor Rao Shahabuddin, Swati Khan, Mian Tariq, Mehr Mahmood, Syed Tauseef Shah, Mian Imran Javed, Mian Muhammad Saleem, Chaudhry Baqir Hussain, Salahuddin Pappi, Liaqat Awan advocate, Syed Nafi Shah, Mian Muhammad Owais, Ashfaq Amanat, Ejaz Anwar Tipu, Rana Shafqat, Waheed Abbasi, Noshirwan Niazi, Khurram Nazir, Kabir Taj, Tariq Wasir, Fayyaz Work, Waheed Gul and Majid Zahoor.
PPP leader Haji Aziz-ur-Rehman Chan, PML-Q leader Mian Munir, and others also attended the funeral prayers while Secretary Lahore Press Club Zahid Chaudhry and senior journalist Shaheen Atiq were also in attendance.
