Over 17,000 cases of cyber, financial crimes reported in Karachi

Over 17,000 cases of financial crime and cybercrime have been reported in Karachi this year, 24NewsHD TV channel reported Wednesday citing a report of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

FIA Cybercrime Deputy Director Muhammad Iqbal said that the cases of financial crime and cybercrime were increasing in Karachi.

He said that cases of blackmailing women were also being reported.

He advised the citizens to be careful and not to share their data with any stranger.
