Anti-corruption court withdraws decision to approve Pervaiz Elahi’s bail

The anti-corruption court on Thursday withdrew its decision to approve bail of former Punjab chief minister Pervaiz Elahi in the case of illegal recruitment into the Punjab Assembly, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The court withdrew its decision to approve Pervaiz Elahi’s bail on the plea of the prosecution.

With the court decision, the bail that was earlier granted to Pervaiz Elahi has become ineffective.

The prosecution will now be available to take physical remand of Pervaiz Elahi again.
