Interior Minister Naqvi calls on PM Shehbaz to discuss political situation

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore on Sunday, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel. 

The meeting discussed the country's overall internal security, law and order situation, counter-terrorism measures, and other important security issues in detail. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi briefed the Prime Minister on the overall law and order situation in the country and the steps being taken by the Federal Ministry of Interior. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appreciated the efforts of the Interior Minister and his team and directed that coordinated and effective measures be continued to ensure the safety of lives and property of citizens.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister reiterated the commitment that the safety of lives and property of the people, the rule of law and the complete elimination of terrorism are among the top priorities of the government.
