EPZA former secretary, wife stabbed to death

Unidentified persons stabbed to death a couple in Safoora area of Sindh capital yesternight, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Monday. 

The man was identified as Zahoor Ahmad, former secretary of the Export Processing Zone Authority (EPZA), and his spouse Nighat, police said.  

The cops said the body of Zahoor was found near the kitchen and the body of Nighat was found on the bed. 

The officials collected evidence from the crime scene and got the murder weapon, while the crime scene unit team also obtained fingerprints. 

According to the police, Mustafa, son of Zahoor Ahmed, stated that he came around 2 AM and fell asleep and he saw the bodies in the morning. 

The neighbors said that Zahoor had no enmity, he was a thorough gentleman and was known for his generosity.  

The police have registered a case and started an investigation.   

CCTV footage is being obtained from around the crime scene.
