Jamrud women block Pak-Afghan highway in protest against inflation

Women protested against inflation by blocking the Pak-Afghan highway near Takhta Baig and Wazir Dhand in Jamrud, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

They were flanked by the local elders, and they shouted slogans against the government.

Apart from this, they said that women had not been given a share in the land that was being sold or sold out in Jamrud Shahkas.

“This is sheer injustice and oppression of women,” they said.

It is to be noted here that the women had blocked the Pak-Afghan highway in protest the other day as well.
