The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Rawalpindi Wednesday arrested from the Islamabad International Airport a suspect who was concealing 78 capsules of heroin and four capsules of ice in his stomach, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the ANF spokesperson, the accused identified as Kashif Ahmed, a resident of Buner, was arrested when he was ready to board the PIA flight PK-187 to leave for Bahrain.

“A total of 644 grams of heroin and 35 grams of ice were recovered from the capsules,” said the spokesperson.

“The accused was taken into custody during routine checking,” he added.

“A case has been registered against him under Anti-Narcotics Act. Further investigation against him is underway,” he stated.
