Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Mehmood Khan visited the venue of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) power show, scheduled to be held in Peshawar on Wednesday (today), where he told the media that former prime minister Imran Khan would give a surprise in his speech.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the KP chief minister informed the media that people in large numbers would participate in the PTI public rally.

“This is a selected government. We do not accept those who came in the dark of night. We are the people of conscience. We do not sell out our conscience,” he stated.

“There was surely something [left by the previous government] in the national treasury that Shehbaz Sharif announced a raise in the salaries,” he pointed out.

He also termed the opposition’s rise to power in the Centre a unique event in the history of democracy.
