Pakistan’s flamboyant all-rounder and former cricket captain Shahid Afridi is celebrating Pakistan’s Independence Day with showing solidarity to Kashmir, Palestine and Turkey.

Shahid Afridi posted a photo on Instagram while standing in the balcony of his home with a large Pakistan flag hoisting on his house’s roof along with the flags of Kashmir, Palestine and Turkey.

Afridi wrote: “Kashmir, Palestine and Turkey, with their beautiful landscape and enviable spirit are homes away home.”

This unique message of solidarity with Muslim countries has earned a lot of praise of fans for the cricketer.

The picture was also tweeted by a Turkish journalis thanking Afridi for showing solidarity with Turkey:
