Pakistan lifts travel ban on passengers from India

Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Pakistan Friday issued a new travel advisory and lift the travelling ban on 11 countries including India.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the CAA excluded 11 countries from the list of Category C and allowed the passengers to travel to Pakistan.

As per the new advisory, citizens of countries other than Category-C would be required to undergo a corona test 72 hours before arrival in Pakistan, while passengers would also undergo a real-time PRC test on their arrival in Pakistan.

Now, only 15 countries have been retained in the list of Category C including Bangladesh, Iran, Iraq, South Africa, Ecuador, Libya, Nepal, Guatemala, Indonesia, Mexico, Morocco, Myanmar, Namibia, Thailand and Tunisia.

Apart from Pakistani nationals, citizens of Category-C countries have been barred from entering Pakistan.

The new travel advisory would remain in effect until the end of this month, August 31.
