Highwaymen kill two in Shikarpur

Three people were killed as Highwaymen fired shots at a truck in Shikarpur district of Sindh late Saturday.

According to local police, the incident occurred on Khanpur Indus Highway.

As the driver attempted to foil the robbery bid, the highwaymen sprayed the truck with a volley of bullets.

The truck driver and his cleaner were killed while another person sustained injuries, the police said, adding that the bodies and the injured were rushed to a hospital.

All the persons are from the Dera Bugti area of Balochistan.
