Justin Bieber sparks concern with emotional Instagram posts about faith, fatigue and ‘undeserved’ forgiveness

Justin Bieber has raised concern among fans after a string of emotional Instagram posts, reflecting his feelings and faith.

The 31-year-old pop star shared close-up selfies in a Toronto Maple Leafs pullover, accompanied by a heartfelt caption thanking God for “forgiveness” and the gift of a “new day.”

“Grateful for a new day. Grateful for Jesus,” Bieber wrote. “He meets me every morning with forgiveness and love that I truly don’t deserve. So grateful that he gives this love so freely, so graciously. Wouldn’t be able to get through the day without his love. It meets me at my lowest.”

The post came less than 24 hours after Bieber admitted he was feeling “tired emotionally and physically” in a previous update, which included screenshots from an iMessage conversation. In that exchange, the Peaches singer wrote, “Standing on business gets tiring. Going to bed. Night,” before adding in a follow-up, “Tomorrow gonna be a great day.” He signed off with a crying selfie sticker.

Bieber offered no further context, prompting speculation and concern from his nearly 300 million followers. Many flooded the comments with messages of love and encouragement. “Justin, we love you. You are amazing and so many people love you,” one fan wrote. Another added, “One day at a time. Today was bad, tomorrow will be different. Sending prayers.”

In another post on Monday, Bieber shared an iMessage screenshot listing personal affirmations: “I want to grow in gratitude… in my awareness of God… in selflessness… in passion… in faith… in wonder… in love.”

While many praised the sincerity of his words, others were more sceptical, with some speculating about his mental and physical well-being.

The Grammy-winning artist, who rose to fame as a teenager with hits like Baby, has been candid in the past about his struggles with mental health, Lyme disease, and the pressures of fame.

For now, Bieber appears to be leaning heavily on his faith. “It meets me at my lowest,” he reiterated in Tuesday’s post, suggesting that despite his fatigue, he remains determined to find strength in spirituality.
